Candidates for membership must agree to support ASGA Tournaments.
Each member proposing a candidate has the responsibility of
making certain that the candidate follows through if membership
is offered and accepted. Candidates may apply at age 53, but
will not be eligible for membership until they become 55.
Currently, candidates with a single digit index have no maximum
age limitation. Candidates with a handicap index of 18 or
less may be considered between ages 53 and 74.
Membership is by invitation following sponsorship of candidates
by current members. It is the responsibility of each member
to represent and promote the ASGA in his state or province
and to assist us in locating suitable candidates for membership
from among his circle of golfing acquaintances.
